With the upcoming release of the highly anticipated SkipMatrix web application, SkipMatrix has made significant improvements to its skip tracing process and the data that is included.
A new, simplified format and file delivery system
With simplicity in mind, SkipMatrix has discontinued its previous skip tracing processes — People Tracer, Address Tracer, and Property Tracer — and replaced them with one simplified process that combines the power of all three.
Previously, SkipMatrix customers would receive their results — from People Tracer and Address Tracer — in separate files. Now, those results are no longer separated and have been combined into one file, allowing for people and entities to each be skip traced in the same process. Using the new “Input Method” column, SkipMatrix customers can see how their results were achieved and easily filter between them based on the process that was used. With the new changes, SkipMatrix customers can expect a significantly reduced file size and a file delivery system that is much easier to navigate.
Additionally, the new process allows SkipMatrix customers to skip trace their file with only a property address or a parcel number and avoid being charged an additional 2 cents per record, as they previously were when the use of Property Tracer was required.
Bankruptcy details have been enhanced
Previously, SkipMatrix could identify when a subject was linked to a bankruptcy, but more detailed information was not provided. Now, SkipMatrix customers are provided with much more useful bankruptcy details, such as: the filing date, the type of bankruptcy, the current status of the bankruptcy, and the date that the status was last updated. These additional datapoints provide a more comprehensive understanding of the subject and allow for more mindful and targeted opportunities.
Disconnected phone numbers are actively removed
In an effort to improve accuracy and efficiency for its customers, SkipMatrix is actively tracking and scrubbing disconnected phone numbers from the results that it sends to its customers. However, given the ever-changing nature of phone numbers, SkipMatrix does not guarantee that all disconnected phone numbers will be scrubbed out of the results, as it is still possible for a phone number to be disconnected before its status has been updated in the SkipMatrix database.
Since its inception in January 2020, SkipMatrix has established itself as a leading provider of premium skip tracing data for the real estate industry. SkipMatrix, with its seamless, new skip tracing system — and more exciting announcements on the horizon — continues to bring essential innovation to the real estate industry.
